AMAZING! My coworker always orders from this restaurant because we work in the ironbound section of Newark New Jersey. My boss and I wanted to try lomo saltado but we got a suggestion to try Tallarines Verde which is a pasta dish served with a green basil sauce. This dish definitely reminded me of your typical Chinese lo mein but you can also add chicken and steak whatever protein you like. We called in advance and when I went to go pick it up it was already made. Location is a very small location but you are able to dine in staff is friendly and professional. When you check in you are also eligible for a free liter of soda which is great.

Just ordered delivery from seamless with three different dishes. All very good, I'm very satisfied with the quality and portion size, I'll have enough leftovers for the entire weekend. I especially enjoyed the fried rice dish with beef and chicken. Only complaint is I wish I ordered more green sauce, but definitely wont make that mistake when I order next times

Lord, glad I ate here before checking reviews (which almost never happens)! We came to Karpollo because our first choice was closed already and had a really good meal. We were a party of 6 and ordered the pollo a la brasa, lomo salteado and churrasco to share. The chicken was excellent and came with rice and salad. Not as delicious as my favorite puerivan spot in Passaic, but really flavorful still. The lomo salteado was also really good, a huge portion and was good to share. The churrasco is the only thing that we didn't like very much. It was not skirt steak at all, instead it was a different type of meat and it did not come well prepared. The restaurant inside does have a few tables, although not for large groups. We were 6 and a baby and it was extremely tight getting two tables together while they had two other tables that were already occupied there. Looking around, everyone's plates seemed really well made and I would even venture to return! The service was just ok, the waitress was so confused and brought us the wrong sides twice, but she was very nice about it and quickly fixed the mistake. So Delicious! Order the 1/4 Chicken platter. It comes with a small fresh salad, rice and beans. The Sweet Plantains and Yucca get two thumbs up as well! Fresh juice is great too - try the Carrot, Apple and Ginger. I was surprised that I got so much food for such a small price :) and even happier that the food is so satisfying and healthy at the same time. They deliver!
